In August 2022, I watched a YouTube video about how to have a winning mindset. Although the video was unimportant, one phrase kept sticking to me. “Every great king has a great court.” I thought the phrase would create a good foundation for a series. From that moment on, I set out to create my own medieval fantasy world.

The story behind the design: The King’s Court is a medieval fantasy drama set in Hispania (modern-day Spain and Portugal). Beginning five years after the fall of Rome in the year 481 AD (early Middle Ages). The plot revolves around Cristoval, a once powerful marshal who abandoned his oath to start a new kingdom. As his kingdom grows, more problems arise. Reviewers praised the novel for its, world-building, conflict, and heavy themes.
