The Cypher Spot

The Cypher Spot is a nonprofit breakdance ministry created by the Christ Alone Fellowship on 41 Caroline Street in Lancaster. They reach kids and young adults with free breakdance sessions and share the gospel. Even though I was new, I was welcomed and encouraged. The free breakdance session helps me get away from the stresses of life. Although dance is niche, more people could benefit from their services.

As a way to give back, I wanted to use my skills to help rebrand their image. Design-wise, I wanted to modernize the brand, while capturing the essence of dance and family. For the logo, I attempted a mix of minimalism and graffiti as the type. Blending all the different aspects I created something that felt bold, simple, and unique.
